“The extra mile”

My Husband and I pre booked Mays B and B as a halfway overnight stop on our first ever ‘Long’ bike ride (for us as non cyclists) from Poole to Epsom. We had overnight accommodation for our bikes included too. Zoe and her family were warm welcoming and entertaining. the room was delightful and Zoe even provided extra toiletries so we could travel light. There was a pub a few minutes walk down the road (towards Petersfield) where we recommend the Pies. We also recommend Zoe’s breakfast, a proper continental with fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, croissants jams and toast, coffee, tea…just about a world record amount all on a tray brought over to you at whatever time you request. The setting of Mays cottage was idyllic and staying there helped to make our weekend truly memorable.

“Perfect B & B”

As I’m staying here during the week due to work, it’s nice to know that I have a comfortable home from home. The facilities are fantastic, comfortable bed with a great ensuite. I have been staying here for approximately six weeks and I think that alone is recommendation enough! It’s a short walk (about 20 Mins) into Petersfield Town centre! Breakfasts are fantastic as mentioned before! Zoe really does a great job and it’s been a pleasure staying here! Just an additional note after reading other reviews….I’ve not seen any spiders in the room!!!

“Brilliant little B & B”

We use Mays B & B to accommodate people for business reasons, Zoe makes them feel welcome from the time they arrive, the room is spacious and very clean breakfast is continental and brought to your room. you can walk to the nearest pub or into the town of Petersfield is an approximate 20 minute walk where there are lots of nice eateries and pubs. We use Mays as our first choice when booking accommodation in the  Petersfield area.

“A lovely place to stay”

We stayed at Mays Cottage Bed & Breakfast for one night. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern and nice. Having the room away from the main house felt more private which was nice. Zoey and her husband were lovely and very friendly. It was such good value for money, we would definitely recommend and stay again!
