Welcome to Mays Cottage Bed & Breakfast, our bed and breakfast is a cozy self contained fully insulated timber building located alongside the main cottage.

As a guest you will greeted with a warm welcome, shown to your accommodation where you can cozy down with lovely fresh sheets and a comfortable bed for a relaxing nights sleep, ready for whatever your day ahead maybe….. a family wedding or a day in the office?

Breakfast is a relaxed affair, your buffet style continental breakfast will be brought to you in your room so stay in your pyjamas if you wish and simply enjoy.

Short Breaks in the South Downs

The property is conveniently situated close to many places of interest and many local wedding venues, as well as being within the South Downs National Park, so is perfectly placed for walking and cycling trips within the Southdowns trails, etc.   There are so many local places of interest;  the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, Goodwood Horse racing and Motor circuit as well as Chichester Festival Theatre. For ferries, we are also close to Portsmouth Ferrie ports and IOW Ferries.

Wedding Accommodation in the South Downs

May’s Cottage is close to many popular wedding venues, so ideal for those wishing to stay in the area; such as Tithe Barn, Southdowns Country Hotel, Old Thorns Manor Hotel, Stanstead Park, Langrish House Hotel and Farbridge.

Our Room Costs:

We have one Double Ensuite room which costs £50.00 for single occupancy and £65.00 for double occupancy, both rates include a continental breakfast.
